The ball leaves a trail you can read the spin off, the racket smears through its arc, and each venue finally has its own weather.

  • The ball trails a ribbon that widens with speed, tapers with age and takes its colour from the spin you put on it — gold and glowing on a signature shot.
  • Rackets smear through their swing arc.
  • Impacts shake and roll the view within a tight limit, ring out a shockwave, flash the edges of the screen, kick up dust off the surface and leave scuff marks behind.
  • Flashbulbs fire around the stands at a rate set by the venue and how excited the crowd is, and the crowd jumps when a point ends.
  • Venues have their own air: wind streaks across the Cage along the wind direction, heat bands over the Kiln, light shafts in the Vault, floodlight halos at night.
  • A neon-tuned glow pass — the six venue lighting setups themselves were not touched, so every court looks like itself.
  • Court dimensions, ball physics and the camera are unchanged.

The Coral Court Major grows to eight rounds across six courts, each one with its own bounce, pace and weather — and three new opponents who each demand a different answer.

  • The draw is now eight rounds, starting in qualifying on a windy outside court and finishing on Centre Court under the lights.
  • Six courts to climb, and they genuinely play differently: Court 12 is gusty and open, the Kiln kicks the ball above your shoulder, the Covered Court is fast and skids low with the roof closed for rain, and the night session on Centre Court gives you a heavy, slower ball. The tag under the round name tells you the conditions before the first serve.
  • Three new opponents: Ruy Casal loops everything over your shoulder, Pell Oria drops the ball dead behind the net to drag you forward and then lobs you, and lefty Cass Verrant serves and volleys every single point.
  • Controller fix: the slice button no longer opens the pause menu. Pause is Start (or Escape) and nothing else, so all four shots are finally usable on a pad.
  • The players look right: feet now point forwards, and hairlines and headbands sit above the eyebrows instead of on them.
  • Two more Coach's Pick edges to earn, a new How to Play page explaining the courts, and a commentator who introduces each court the first time you walk onto it.

Match Point Majors is now playable on a phone — a thumb stick for the baseline, the four shot types under your right thumb, and a layout that finally fits a landscape screen.

  • Play on a phone: slide along the baseline with a thumb stick and swing with FLAT, TOP, SLICE and LOB laid out under your right thumb, with DIVE and your Signature on the left edge.
  • Menus, the draw, the pause screen and the How to Play manual are all fully tappable, and the on-screen prompts now switch to touch labels the moment you use a finger.
  • Turning the phone upright shows a "rotate to play" prompt and pauses your match, because the court is far wider than a portrait screen can show.
  • The title menu, the championship draw and the How to Play diagrams used to overflow a short screen with no way to scroll to them; they now fit.

Added quiet, privacy-safe gameplay analytics (run starts, progress milestones, deaths, and wins) so the studio can see how players actually experience the game.

  • The game now quietly reports its own match results so the studio can see how far players get in the draw — no change to how it plays.

Big character night: real faces and fake sponsors for every player, a proper swing, a risky new dive move, and an animated How to Play manual.

  • Every player on the tour is now a recognizable character with a real face, facial hair, wild hairstyles, sponsor kits and numbered shirts — meet the green-afro Wildcard and the mohawked Falcon
  • New dive move (Shift on keyboard, LB on a controller): hurl yourself at impossible balls for a desperate dig, but you eat the floor and cannot move while you get back up
  • Swings look like tennis now — hips turn, the racket sweeps through the ball and finishes over the shoulder, and rackets no longer clip through bodies in the intro
  • New How to Play section on the main and pause menus: six animated pages that show swing timing, serving, all four shot types, aiming, the Signature and the dive
  • Intro and pre-match cinematics now show players face-on instead of filming the backs of their heads
  • A proper thud-and-slide sound when you hit the deck

Internal cleanup: the cutscene controls now run on the studio shared code instead of a private copy. No change to how the game plays.

  • This game already had its own fix for the held-button cutscene-skip bug. That private fix has been replaced by the studio official one, which behaves identically, so the game no longer carries a one-off patch that could drift out of step with the rest of the catalog.
  • Gameplay, visuals, audio and balance are completely untouched.

Match Point Majors finally shows you the shot you're hitting — a landing marker, a closing strike ring, and a campaign that gets harder as you climb.

  • You can now SEE the timing. A ring closes onto your feet as the ball comes in — swing when it meets the core for a PERFECT strike — and a marker on the far court shows exactly where the ball will bounce, white if it's in, red if it's sailing out.
  • The ball is bigger, brighter and easier to track, with a glow and a stronger trail, plus dust and impact bursts when it's struck, skids the net cord, or thumps the clay.
  • New Coach's Pick between rounds: after every win you choose one of three edges — longer reach, a heavier ball, softer hands, a cannon serve, or a faster Signature meter. They stack across your run and are saved.
  • The draw now escalates: Round One is a quick first-to-3, the final is a first-to-5, and the scoreboard tells you what you're playing for.
  • Balls at the edge of your reach now trigger a full-stretch lunge, and the umpire calls game point, match point and deciding point.
  • Fixed: skipping the intro no longer dumps you straight into the pause menu, and a button held as a cinematic begins no longer skips it instantly.
